Ashanti was one of the country's first backpacker hostels. Today, the establishment offers only guesthouse services, as well as various excursions and activities. The guesthouse is housed in two Victorian houses with comfortable, spacious double and triple rooms. Family room with double bed and two single beds. Funky decor. Wifi and fully-equipped kitchen for cooking up a storm. Royal breakfast and breathtaking views of Table Mountain.

Welcome to Ashanti Lodge
Ashanti was one of the first backpackers in South Africa over 20 years ago and is now a well-known Cape Town establishment offering budget accommodation options in three different properties.
With dormitories at the pinnacle of design, in the gardens and Green Point estates of Cape Town, these two buildings also have private single and double rooms with shared bathrooms. Our two guest rooms in the corner of the gardens building have beautiful, recently renovated rooms with bathrooms suitable for young and old.
Our secure premises are open 24 hours a day, we have Wi-Fi, delicious breakfast options, stunning views of Table Mountain (Ashanti Lodge Backpackers gardens) or within walking distance of the waterfront and beaches (Ashanti Backpackers Green Point) and the staff are professional and friendly.
You can visit our travel center for good advice on getting around South Africa and also book information on locating treatments, bus tickets, Cape Town activities, Baz Bus, Kruger Park, Garden Route and African safaris in general.
