It's ideally located in a quiet residential area at the foot of Helderberg Mountain, just 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. Within walking distance, you'll find a variety of restaurants and the monthly arts and crafts market, and nearby are beautiful beaches. KaapsePracht is surrounded by top-quality golf courses and wineries, and scenic drives will quickly take you to places like Stellenbosch, Franschhoek or Paarl. Day trips to the vineyards, a round of golf, whale watching in Hermanus or whatever else makes your stay enjoyable can be arranged at your convenience from our guesthouse. After an exciting day of vineyard adventure, you can cool off in our pool and enjoy a glass of wine in KaapsePracht's lush garden. There's no doubt that you'll find KaapsePracht the ideal base from which to explore the region. Rooms are luxurious and non-smoking, with king-size XL beds and en suite bathrooms with double showers and sinks. Each room has its own private entrance, private patio overlooking the pool and lush garden, flat-screen TV, satellite TV, WiFi, hairdryer, safe, tea and coffee making facilities and secure parking. The Cape region around Somerset West is one of the most unique and varied in the world! The Mediterranean climate, wonderful summers with a minimum of rain. A refreshing sea breeze makes hot summer days of over 30 degrees comfortable. Even on sunny winter days, the temperature rises to over 20 degrees. The region is malaria-free. Throughout the year, nature displays its abundance of color and perfection. Rates are in South African rand, per person per night, based on double occupancy, and are subject to change without notice. Children aged 12 and over are charged as adults. Breakfast is optional and is served in the breakfast room.
