Located in South Africa's Elgin Valley, around 17 km from Grabouw, the Old Mac Daddy Hotel is an unusual and charming place to relax. The complex offers 12 Airstream trailers, each decorated by local artists, as well as glamping-style tents and self-catering units for large families or groups of friends. The trailers are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, and some have terraces and built-in living areas. A 3-bedroom house is also available, with a kitchen, fireplace and outdoor bath. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The hotel has a contemporary barn housing a restaurant, children's playroom and barn. There's also an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace and panoramic views, a bar, a library and a playground. Guests can fish in the hotel's dam, and mountain bikes are available.
