Township Patterns is a social enterprise created by a French woman, Nicole-Marie Iresch. It has put at the heart of its mission the economic development of the townships of South Africa through the marketing of designer and arty bags made by the women of the townships of Khayelitsha and Manenberg, in collaboration with the Ecole Duperré d'arts appliqués in Paris. The products are on sale in the shop, colourful, beautiful, well finished, beautiful works. The shop also offers accessories for women, men and children.
