BERTRAM HOUSE
A Georgian-style house where you can find porcelain and English furniture from the Georgian or late century periods.
This Georgian-style house, whose origin remains a mystery, was renovated in 1983 to recreate a typical house of the Cape inhabitants under British occupation two centuries ago. There are many porcelains and English furniture from the Georgian period or from the end of the 18th century. On the first floor, two rooms document the leisure activities practised by the women of good families at the time, such as the art of correspondence and embroidery. Plunged into time.
