Is that heaven? Surely. Despite the storm that devastated the restaurant in 2017, it was completely restored and renovated. The vineyards run on the slopes of the eastern Constantiaberg, facing False Bay. The immense beach of Muizenberg is on the horizon. This is the case with the Mueller, a German family which says without hesitation that «life is much more civilized here». Buitenverwachting gourmet restaurant is one of the best in the country. Chief Edgar from Austria has the onerous task of succeeding Thomas Sinn, who has forged the great reputation of this institution. Excellent Kingklip with his risotto and his juice and appetizing springbok filet on a bed of lentils. The cabernet-merlot «Christine» remains one of our favorite South African wines.
