Small mountain reserve below Hermitage Peak offering an opportunity to discover Cape Fynbos.
A small mountain reserve beneath Hermitage Peak, which rises to an altitude of 1,554 m. It's a good opportunity, by taking one of the six fully accessible hiking trails ranging from 1.5 to 8.5 km, to discover the Cape Fynbos, like a parterre of succulents and flowering bushes, this unique plant system that covers part of the Cape Province and constitutes in itself what botanists call a "floral kingdom".
