CANGO WILDLIFE RANCH
This ranch rescues animals that have been injured or whose parents have been shot by poachers or farmers.
Cango WildLife Ranch is not a zoo, far from it. It is an area for the conservation and protection of wildlife, as well as a place of education for the younger generations. Through the different spaces you will go through, you will learn more about the animals, but also how to protect them. For example, the ranch recovers animals that have been injured or whose parents have been killed by poachers or farmers. Whenever possible, the ranch reintroduces animals to the wild once they have been cared for. Cango Wildlife Ranch has also established breeding and sponsorship programs to save endangered species, particularly cheetahs. For example, just at Cango Ranch, this program has resulted in the birth of more cheetahs than all equivalent programs in the United States combined. We highly recommend a visit with Eudes, a Congolese French-speaking guide, passionate about his job and the protection of animals. They will tell you fascinating anecdotes and help you better understand the protection programs. You will also have, if you wish, the opportunity to adopt or sponsor an animal from the ranch and thus participate in its reproduction or reintroduction. Finally icing on the cake, meet and stroke animals: baby or adult cheetahs, lemurs, servals or snakes. Or the terrifying encounter with the Nile crocodiles, immersed underwater in a suspended steel cage... an unforgettable memory!
