Museum located on Beaufort West's main road, right next to the tourist office.
On the main road to Beaufort West, right next to the tourist office, we enter the town's museum. For us, the most interesting part of the museum is the one devoted to the work of Chris Barnard, born on November 8, 1922 in the adjacent rectory where his father, Reverend Adam Barnard, worked. All the gifts and decorations received by the famous surgeon after the successful heart transplant on December 3, 1967 are piled up here. In a completely different style, another part of the museum is dedicated to Napoleon.
