Meat in South Africa is a true religion. At the Beef Baron of Bloemfontein, compete with the lads of the Vrystaat and put your signature on the wall after eating a steak weighing more than 1 kg. Record to be beaten: 2.9 kg! The Wollenschlaeger brothers are known all over the country for their perfectly stale cuts of beef. A highly recommended carnivorous experience in a kitschy Old School setting. Don't expect anything out of the ordinary, but a very local experience for your stay in South Africa.
