A few kilometres from Plettenberg Bay, a walk of almost 10 km, or rather an intense and breathtaking expedition for the most sporty among you. Plan in hand, you are ready for the adventure. Plan a full day to enjoy every corner of the peninsula. All right, you'll need to be brave, good shoes and a few litres of water, but it's worth the effort. Throughout the hike, splendid landscapes and views. Between ascents and descents, footbridges and pontoons arranged (or not!) hillside paths, stony paths, sand dunes and some climbing passages, you will remember these 4 hours of walking to the "Point" in the Robberg Nature reserve (your calves and thighs will also remember it!). With the liking of your steps, incongruous encounters, a turquoise lizard here, a colony of seals below, a seagull, a dassie (local marmot) there.... And above all, images that you will not forget. The turquoise sea flowing over the cliffs, the jagged coastline, the rocks with orange shades, the hidden coves, the large pristine beach.... And after the effort, the comfort. Do as the locals do, sit on a picnic table, take out your plaid tablecloth and have an aperitif while admiring the sunset. PS: for the less adventurous, 2 other hikes are available, one of about 2 km and one of about 5 km (shorter but not necessarily easier). On your marks, ready? Hiking! Hiking!
