Knysna Head emerges from the brute force of the ocean to rise like high sentinels, guarding the lagoon and the city. Ocean waters break out and break dramatically. East Head is easily accessible by car and offers a number of vantage points and bridges from which you can enjoy superb views. There are also several small beaches and rocky pools accessible via East Head. It is also possible to admire Knysna Head from the sea (boat trip).
