OUTENIQUA MOUNTAINS
The Outeniqua mountains are a magnificent sight on a clear day.
To reach the Outeniqua Mountains, you must take the direction of Oudtshoorn by the National Road 12 and start the ascent of the Outeniqua Mountains by the Outeniqua Pass road at 800 m of altitude, or better, by the Montagu Pass trail at 745 m of altitude, which forks on the right towards Herold. For the record, it took four years to carve the trail. Remember to check the weather forecast to go there when the weather is good because, on a clear day, the show is guaranteed and magnificent.
