DWESA AND CWEBE NATURE RESERVE
Go there and contact
These two twin reserves on both sides of the Mbashe River are bordered by a primitive forest (the most important of this coast) that plunges into the ocean on one side and by green hills on the other side. The land and marine biodiversity that lives there is fantastic, including the 290 species of birds identified. Recently, animals were introduced to Dwesa: buffles, élands, wildebeests and warthogs, and crocodiles in the river. Superb walks are possible, especially in Dwesa the largest of both (3 900 ha), which offers an incredible point of view called Kobole Point, while Cwebe has a beautiful waterfall. Possibility of accommodation in Dwela in self catering chalets for 2 or 4 people and camping.
