INTERNATIONAL LIBRARY OF AFRICAN MUSIC
A unique venue housing a huge collection of African musical instruments: xylophones, kalimbas, horns, flutes and koras.
One of the world's most beautiful collections of African musical instruments, to be discovered by appointment and only during the week. The collection was assembled in the 1920s by Hugh Tracey. Harps, xylophones, kalimbas, horns, flutes and koras of great beauty. With this collection, he created in 1954 this unique place, the world's largest repository for African music. He also supports contemporary fieldwork.
