Extensive beach to the east of Port Alfred, accessible via Beach Crescent, idyllic for swimming and surfing.
East of Port Alfred, East Beach is quite extensive. It is one of our favorite beaches. To get to this surfers' beach, you have to take the direction of Beach Crescent. Once there, the swimming is normally without too much danger on both sides. It even happens here that surfing fanatics ski in the dunes of East Beach! At low tide, pieces of wreckage sometimes surface on the golden sand and add a little history and adventure to the natural charm of East Beach.
