Site hosting the Battle of Hlobane Mountain and the Battle of Kambula.
The Battle of Hlobane Mountain. In the annals of the Anglo-Zulu war, it remains the only one that was fought, on the English side, only by horsemen. At the end of March 1879, His Majesty's soldiers came face to face with 25,000 Zulu fighters!
Battle of Kambula. The shock took place the day after the attack on Hlobane. Zulus led by Mnyamana and Mtshingwayo attacked the fortified position of Colonel Evelyn Wood. The site is of great beauty.
