ROCKTAIL BAY LODGE
A robinsonnade near the Indian Ocean. A comfortable bed awaits you in your chalet hanging between the trees; hot water flows in the bathroom; a simple dinner is served in the evening under the stars; there is ice beer in the bar. You just have to cross the high dune, and this is the beach with the ocean view. We walk there for hours, without meeting anyone. The Rangers propose to take you in 4 X 4 to Black Rock and Lala Nek, two beautiful places on the coast, and they lend you masks or fishing rods. For patented divers, exits on reefs (about 400 R). Between October and February, turtles come to lay on the beach. In the lodge everything works on solar energy and gas: Forget your electric razors and hair dryer. Due to the absence of antirequins nets, it is better not to swim too far. It's a good idea to be a 10 hour, 14 h or 16 h drive at the Coastal Cashews parking lot where you will find you in 4 X 4.
