This large mosque in the southern hemisphere was built on a 975 m² plot.
From 1860 onwards, the English brought many Indians to work in the sugar cane fields, where the Zulus were not entirely satisfied. The first wave, mainly Hindus, was followed by a second wave of Muslim Indian traders in the 1970s. On a plot of 975 square meters, they built this majestic building, a great mosque of the southern hemisphere. One feels really welcome during the visit.
