CATO MANOR HERITAGE CENTRE
Another museum that balances the "white" history and pays tribute to the minds of the different communities who have defied the apartheid regime. The other aspect of this exhibition is to show the humanity and daily life of the Cato Manor community. In this large, bright manor, a collection of photos captured the moments of the struggle and revolts, whose leaders gathered in this neighborhood. Other documents enrich this exhibition: clippings, historical documents and letters, official documents of expulsions, riots and rebellions. The dark and harsh colours are staged by the local artist Josech Manana, while the story verbally told is read by various personalities, including Jacob Zuma, the president of the country.
