The colony's gardens, established in 1849, are a breath of fresh air in the city.

The colony's gardens, established in 1849, are a breath of fresh air in the city. Allow a good hour to walk through each of the fragrant pathways offered by the Durban Botanic Garden. You'll find it's a sight to behold. For the fans of this species, you can enter the famous orchid house. See the cycas and in particular Encephalartos woodii, a variety not found in the wild, collected in Zululand in 1895.

A voir à Durban !

The gardens of the colony, benches in 1849 other today, among the most beautiful in the world - not much to see, very small.
You will be given two good hours to cover the fragrant paths half not, half - an - hour and an hour to find.
Difficult to see the cycas and Encephalartos woodii. N Orchid House 10 minutes.
