When you hear the words "crepes", "Amsterdam" and "Damrak", you can be forgiven for thinking that this isn't the most intimate address in the capital, but rather one of the most popular with tourists. The crepes are good, however, and the location, a stone's throw from Central Station, is strategic. If the terrace is lively, it's the large interior dining room that's worth the detour. It pays tribute to the Golden Age with reproductions of Dutch masterpieces. Yes, you'd be better off going to the Rijksmuseum to see them in person, but it's still worth a visit!
