Dutch cuisine in a restaurant located behind the Leidseplein.
Just a stone's throw from the Leidseplein, the Pantry has earned its reputation as the number one restaurant in its category. The Pantry offers typical Dutch family cuisine, in the tradition of eetcafés where dishes and recipes are handed down from generation to generation. Among the Dutch specialties of the house: the hutspot (stew with mashed potatoes, carrots and onions) or a boerenkoolstamppot (mashed potatoes with kale). In addition to the generous cuisine, you always have a good time in this restaurant with a family atmosphere.

Le programme de télévision ‘ik hou van Holland'(J’adore les pays-bas) comme restaurant est au fond The Pantry. L’agréable restaurant tout près du ‘Leidseplein’ se distingue par son atmosphère typiquement Hollandais et sert des plats aussi typiquement Hollandais. L’hospitalité y est extrêmement accueillante. Le personnel y travaille depuis des années et comprend l’art du métier de l’horéca, ce qui fait connaître le nom renommé du restaurant. L’ambiance familiale se traduit par des lumières, le bleu de Delft, des anciens tableaux aux murs et le tout est encadré par une douce musique de fond. The Pantry travaille uniquement avec des produits frais et artisanals qui sont faits maison. La situation du restaurant est idéale pour combiner avec une représentation de théâtre ou une visite de cinema. Les portes s’ouvrent déjà à 11 heures, donc aussi idéal pour le lunch

Bonne cuisine, personnel accueillant et efficace, lieu chaleureux. Une excellente adresse pour tester les plats typiques des Pays-Bas. Y aller les yeux fermés

Restaurant typique très sympa. Personnel très accueillant, souriant et compétent. Cuisine simple et gouteuse. Petit coup de coeur pour la boîte à biscuits de grand-mère avec ses 2 liqueurs.
