The Rijksmuseum's restaurant, a superb starred address by a prodigious chef, introduces us to Dutch gastronomy.
Rijks opened in 2014 under the impetus of Joris Bijdendijk in the Philippe wing of the Rijksmuseum, which will be completely renovated in 2023. It offers cuisine deeply rooted in Dutch roots. The modern décor contrasts with the building's rich history. In the kitchen, we find this paradox again, as the chefs marvelously combine the use of local products, particularly seafood, with exotic flavors. This creativity has been rewarded with a Michelin star and numerous other distinctions.
