Fish restaurant located near Spui square offering fresh products.

Just a few meters from Place du Spui, in the heart of Amsterdam, this seafood restaurant is a veritable institution. For 50 years, it has been serving the best fish in town as they arrive. The restaurant boasts a terrace and a pleasant, well-kept interior. The service is always very attentive, and the whole atmosphere is that of a brasserie. The menu features grilled fish and superb seafood, of course, but also soups, seaweed salads and an excellent celeriac carpaccio.

la serveuse et le serveur n'étaient pas très sympathiques, et les personnes chargées du service étaient si bruyantes qu'il était très difficile d'avoir une conversation avec mon mari qui était assis en face de moi. Je n'avais pas envie d'entendre leurs voix fortes. Notre nourriture était bonne, le saumon grillé un peu sous-cuit, mon thon et mon baby bok choy étaient très bons. Je dois souligner que le pain chaud et le beurre français étaient incroyables !

Excellent emplacement recommandé par le personnel de la conciergerie de l'hôtel Waldorf Astoria. Nous avons apprécié la sélection de poissons frais servis dans l'assiette de poissons mélangés (elle est suggérée comme entrée, mais elle est assez copieuse). Prenez l'anguille fumée en plus ! Nous avons apprécié le fait qu'il y ait également quelques options végétaliennes sur le menu (amuse-gueule au céleri et à la carotte, et champignons grillés - bolets).

Le fruit de mer était trop froid et les vongole étaient carrément sales. Les autres poissons étaient très savoureux, ce qui a compensé.
