STUBBE'S HARING
Restaurant located in the centre of Amsterdam, at the entrance to the Jordaan.
Probably the best-located fish stand in town, not far from the station and right at the entrance to the Jordaan district. The herring is first-rate fresh (with little slices of gherkin and onions, it's even better), and there's a wide choice of fish (salmon, mackerel, cod...). It's an excellent option for lunch without breaking the bank or ruining your health. Fish is healthy, and herring has many virtues! So go for it! When the weather's fine, take your bread with you to enjoy by the water. For a dutch meal, and a healthy one at that!
