In the south of the capital, in a slightly off-center neighborhood, close to the Amstel train station, is Dauphine. This former Renault garage has been carefully converted and the muse of the place is enthroned on the terrace! This design café-restaurant, huge and majestic as you can hardly find in the capital, offers an important choice of broodjes at lunchtime, but also (especially!) very good hot dishes and seafood that make the reputation of the place. Despite the size of Dauphine, reservations are essential.
