Bed & Breakfast close to Anne Frank's house, close to the railway station, on the Jordaan and the major canals.

The name Barangay means "village" or "community" in Filipino, reflecting the friendly spirit of this charming address run by a Dutch-Filipino couple. Located just a few steps from many major attractions, this typical 18th-century canal house has retained its colonial-tropical style. The breakfast is delicious and the warm welcome from the hosts makes for an unforgettable stay. A touching and authentic place, perfect for a memorable stay in Amsterdam. A sure bet not to be missed.

Very charming and warm, Host and thier place is kid of paradise in such a big city like Amsterdam. We enjoyed a lot the stay here, just like having a home here, which allowed us to explore the city more boldly and connect more profoundly with it.

Thank you. Wimmo and Godwin, hope to see you soon~

Great location in a pretty part of town with plenty to see and eat but without the mayhem you find in some parts of town. The house is a beautiful 300 year old traditional building with exposed beams and very tasteful furniture and decor.

Amenities and facilities are excellent and it’s a very comfortable place to stay.

Hosts could not have been kinder or more helpful. Will certainly return it’s like a home from home.

incredible location, wonderful hosts, gorgeous and comfortable room. we're totally staying here next time we're in Amsterdam.

the staircase is *extremely* steep (like in all homes in this neighborhood) so just be aware.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and provided a book of restaurants, cafes and attractions in the area. The hotel is in a bed and breakfast style, guests have access to the kitchen and have private locking bedrooms with an en suite bathroom. The bathroom was very luxurious with a separate bath and rainfall shower, plus there was a Japanese bidet which was the first I've found during our stay in Europe! They provided some juices, wine and a large selection of snacks complimentary. There is a beautiful view of their garden from the bedroom window and the street is quiet. Don't be deterred by the long staircases, the hosts were happy to help us with our luggage and it was well worth it!
