A hotel located close to Anne Frank House and Amsterdam train station in the Jordaan district.
Mr. Jordaan is a renovated hotel in the NL design style. Pleasant and bright rooms and a dream location a few hundred metres from Anne Frank's house.

The pastries and free coffee were both lovely, as was the breakfast. They upgraded my room at no charge, so I had a roomy double with a canal view. My only complaint is that the toilet, sink, and shower were practically on top of one another, though that did not impact my rating.
Finally, upon check-out, they gave me a bag filled with snacks and lotion for my travels, which was much appreciated.
Overall, Mr. Jordaan is an excellent value and a place I would certainly stay again should I find myself in Amsterdam.
Comfortable room, warm and helpful service and the location was lovely right by a canal. Enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood.
The location was great.
We had a triple room and was let down by a number of things
- very small
- no light by mirror area and only a tiny window so hard to get ready
- poor shower design which meant water leaked everywhere
I noted that originally they had us listed as room 65 but changed to 64 so perhaps 65 would have been better.
The staff and quirkiness of the hotel pushed it up to a 4/5 as based on room alone it would be 3/5.
There was an issue with overcharge on city tax but the manager assisted by contacting booking.com for us.
The other rooms look better than ours, felt ours was a bit run down. My friends had a small double and that looked nicer.
