4-star hotel with café and restaurant on the Oosterpark in Amsterdam.

This former Catholic orphanage, built in 1890, has been transformed into a 4-star hotel with 139 uniquely decorated rooms (divided into 3 categories), "where Amsterdam meets the rest of the world", according to the website. A new wing opens onto the renovated Oosterpark. The establishment also includes a café (open daily from 7 a.m.) and a restaurant (open daily from 12 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. for lunch and dinner), as well as a superb chapel. A place away from the hypercentre, but very accessible.

Stayed here for 4 nights, nice location in Oosterpark with tram stops at your door. Comfortable bed and helpful friendly staff

Very dirty hotel. They give sex parties, so it is not the best hangout for a weekend trip to Amsterdam. The food in the restaurant is worse than van der Valk.
