Unusual hotel with bar-restaurant and terrace offering 1 and 5-star rooms.

This hotel is housed in a building constructed in 1921 by the Royal Holland Lloyd Shipping Company. It has a heavy history: it once welcomed Eastern European emigrants on their way to South America, then was requisitioned by the Germans and became a reformatory... It has now been renovated and boasts 136 very comfortable, vintage-designed rooms. Within the hotel is the Breman Brasserie, with its pleasant terrace, and the Barbue cocktail bar.

Hotel situado a tres estaciones del tranvía 26 desde la Estación Central y con otra parada de tranvía 7 para la zona sur. Estuvimos en en estudio para dos adultos y dos niños de la planta 6. Tienes restaurantes cercanos y un supermercado. Hotel muy recomendable.

We had a truly awesome experience at the Hoxton Lloyd. We loved the quirky, arty yet very warm and welcoming design and vibe of the hotel. The staff were extremely lovely and so accomodating to our every request. The restaurant in the hotel was one of our favourite places to eat in Amsterdam as we found the food and decor very high quality and delicious. We will definitely be returning to the Hoxton Lloyd in future and cannot thanks the team enough for their service and hospitality.

This hotel is easily a 5 star . The geographical location , the historical charm of the building and the newly refurbished rooms make it one of the top contenders for a quick Amsterdam visit .
