THE HOXTON
Hotel with restaurant in Amsterdam offering shoebox, cosy and roomy rooms.
The Hoxton exudes a cool, comfortable vintage atmosphere that attracts hipsters from all over the world. The 111 rooms are divided into 3 categories: the shoebox (the smallest), the cosy and the roomy. There are also a number of "concept rooms" that showcase the hotel's 17th-century heritage. We really appreciate the overall ambience of the hotel, the common areas, the brunch and Lotti's restaurant (very popular for weekend brunch). You'll feel right at home here, ready to discover the city in the best possible way.

Since this is by the canals in Amsterdam, space is at a premium. Not as much public space as some other locations. No roof top bar for example. However, what is there is great. There is tons of art on the ground floor and across the property as a whole. Even some nice are in my room. I had room 412 for this review.
The location has a good mix of locals and tourists to keep the place buzzing from breakfast until late into the night. Lott's is working for dinner. I think like Paris Hoxton, this location was maybe 2 or 3 buildings combined, which means they are some cool nooks and areas to explore on the 1st floor.
I got a nice upgrade from the front desk team, which I appreciate. Had a cozy room with an internal view of a courtyard like area. It was perfect to give me light but also some quiet space to unwind after a long day of travel. I'll need to check out the docklands Hoxton location next time I'm in the city.
