HOTEL MERCIER * * * *
Hotel located in the Jordaan district with a restaurant with inspired brasserie cuisine.
Housed in a former neighborhood house, once a center for LGBT rights, the Hotel Mercier declares itself a "straightfriendly" establishment. Its harmonious style combines vintage details with contemporary Dutch design elements. Fashion designer and artist Claes Iversen designed unique wall tapestries for each of the 48 rooms and suites, which are decorated with vintage furniture and warm colors. The Bonboon restaurant offers tasty vegan cuisine, all in a bright, modern setting.

Here are the images from my room + it has stinky smell of some terrible take away + stains of ketchup on the walls
I am trying to get my refund for the stay that never happened since June. The hotel keeps saying it is not their responsibility to refund and Booking.com say the hotel only refunded me £100....
Stayed for three nights. I ordered the same thing for breakfast for all days, but some ingredients were missing all the time. Requested takeaway breakfast on the last day, it was confirmed by the receptionist at night but it wasn't ready in the morning.
Overall not worth paying the high price. Disappointed with service.
