86 Sous refers to the address of this bed & breakfast in the basement of a historic building on the Herengracht, a beautiful canal in the centre of the city. The 50m2 space has a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and even a children's room on request. The decoration is very design made in Holland and the colour palette well chosen. This is logical, since Edwin, the owner, is an interior decorator. An atypical place for a personalized stay. An important detail: two bicycles are available for guests!

worst experience i ever had. we were a big group of 10 people who came for beer and some food. We left in batches, and the first three to leave paid their share. The rest of us paid for ourselves. When I was the last one left, she says that everything was not paid, five beers remained. It wasn't on the world map that you could think of checking on the table how many beers we drunk and realize that you made a mistake. We requested receipts and therefore do not receive all, not from the first ones who left. As a restaurant worker myself, I understand that it could go wrong, but being rude, raising your voice and then refusing to check is not okay. the fault is that you did not remove the beer that the first gang took, which you refused to realize or control. 50 euros extra for your mistake.

I Will never recommend this place, from the rude service.
