Hotel located in the Pijp district of Amsterdam with a Japanese restaurant.

Sir Albert is a luxury hotel located in the heart of the creative and vibrant De Pijp district. It boasts a rich history, occupying a former diamond factory. Large windows and high ceilings recall this original architectural heritage. Four room types are available to suit your every need. The traveler has the feeling of staying in a beautiful and luxurious residence, which was indeed the ambition of the Sir Albert's designers. The hotel's adjoining Izakaya Japanese restaurant is an absolute must.

The hotel is really funky and modern and it has a superb hip and happening bar on the ground floor. Rooms are very cozy. Location of the hotel is very very convenient and 3 min walk to the tram line

Sir albert is a fantastic hotel, the staff are very accommodating and pleasant, rooms are modern and comfortable, the downstairs restaurant is very special great japanese food and drinks, I'd recommend booking however, the hotel is a 30 minute walk from Central Station so isn't the most central hotel but that's good as it's quiet and easy to get to by uber etc they also have guest bikes for use, we will be back

LOVED this hotel. From the minute the fabulous Nina checked us in, we felt like old friends. When I needed an adaptor so we could plug stuff in, it magically appeared. Every time I ran into her, she greeted me by name and seemed happy to see us. The other staff was equally friendly and gracious, Buren figured out that I liked a certain candy and gifted it to me. Diago graciously helped us print out boarding passes. Our room was lovely and quiet, the only issue we had was with the air conditioning - the room was hot so we had to keep the window open. I only have one very minor suggestion: Bring back paper room service menus and hotel info. It's a pain to use the QR code and stare at tiny type on my phone.

Thank you for a lovely stay. We have a new home in Holland!

I was allocated room no 16 ... on the ground floor and very close to reception and the restaurant.
When I arrived in my room at 1a.m. on Friday evening, the music from the restaurant was heard very loud in my room.
Throughout the night (when people passed by reception I suppose) there was plenty of noise in the hallway and consequently in my room.
I can't believe the hotel management even rents out this room!
It's hard to imagine that people ever had a good night in that room ...
