A very nice brown neighbourhood café, and what a neighbourhood! Located at the corner of two of the city's most beautiful canals, it has been welcoming its regular visitors on a daily basis since its creation in... 1642. In other words, the place is historic. Its very typical decor has not changed since then, and it even seems that the old cast iron stove that sits in its centre is back in service every winter. The ideal place in summer to sip a beer on the terrace but it is in winter that it is even better, you have the impression of belonging to a still life that could be painted by Vermeer.
