Fonteijn has a reputation for being warm and welcoming, which is true. Located on the historic Nieuwmarkt square, it welcomes a mix of locals and tourists, who mix perfectly and harmoniously. The terrace is very pleasant on sunny days, and the interior is just as attractive. People come here to eat and drink. The menu includes the usual sandwiches as well as flammekueches, fried snacks and bitterballen! A lovely, unpretentious address.
