The official website of the Amsterdam Gay Pride. It is one of the most important Gay Pride events of its kind, taking place every year at the end of July and beginning of August. A host of cultural and festive events are organized as part of this week's festival. Of note are the Lesbian Pride, Grey Pride and Africa Pride parades. The highlight of this week is the Canal Parade, a parade of 80 boats on the city's canals to show the diversity of Dutch gay life. The programme of the festivities is revealed a few months in advance.
