Just a few kilometers from Amsterdam, the village of Ruigoord hosts the annual Solstice festival, celebrated on June 21 to mark the start of summer. Formerly an island, this unique location offers a bohemian, artistic atmosphere. The festival is punctuated by concerts and popular dances in a friendly, festive atmosphere. Ruigoord is also known for its Landjuweel festival, held in August. Two events well worth a visit!
