SAIL
Sail is a magnificent nautical parade of 600 international sailboats sailing on the IJ. This event takes place every 4 years.
In August 2020, Amsterdam will host the tenth edition of the prestigious parade of "tall ships", these imposing sailing ships. For five days, these historic boats (more than 600!), true testimonies of a glorious past, evolve on the IJ in an incredible free nautical parade that should not be missed under any pretext. Sailboats come from all over the world and this event is an opportunity to meet the crews and exchange with sailors. It is the largest public event in the Netherlands.
