ARCAM
Information center on the architecture of the city of Amsterdam to find all data on interesting buildings
Opened (at its current location) in 2003, Arcam is Amsterdam's architectural information center. The three-storey building was designed by architect René van Zuuk. You'll find all the information you need on the city's buildings, and can visit temporary exhibitions. The center also provides information on upcoming urban challenges and organizes thematic guided tours (agenda on their website). A visit not to be missed on leaving the Scheepvaartmuseum, Nemo or Artis, before continuing on to the Plantage district.
