H'art, formerly Hermitage, presents exhibitions in cooperation with the Centre Pompidou, the British Museum and the Smithsonian.
The management of the late Hermitage Amsterdam severed ties a week after Russia invaded Ukraine. The museum reinvents itself under a new name and a new concept: "Great Art Sparks Hearts", to be a museum for museums. H'art begins multiple collaborations with the Centre Pompidou, the British Museum and the Smithsonian, among others. The first major exhibition in a rich 5-year period will be devoted to Kandinsky. H'art will also be hosting the Amsterdam Museum during its renovation until at least 2025. A brave new beginning.
