Opening in summer 2020 in a former television studio in Amsterdam Noord, Nxt Museum is Amsterdam's first museum dedicated to the digital arts. In a space of over 2,100m2, 6 rooms present a variety of multi-sensory installations, all highly stimulating. The visit is a captivating, immersive experience. You move from room to room in a mixture of wonder and questioning, fascinated by these large-scale works. It's impossible to remain indifferent; it's an experience not to be missed.

Sunday to Tuesday 11 am - 8.30 pm, Wednesday 11 am - 9.30 pm, Thursday to Saturday 11 am - 10.30 pm. Adults €24.75, young people aged 12-17 €13.50.

Nxt Museum is the home of new media art in the Netherlands, located in Amsterdam North. Situated in a former TV studio, Nxt Museum is a permanent location for large-scale, multi-sensory installations fusing technology and artistic expression. Nxt Museum’s purpose is to be ground for progressive art forms to grow, flourish and evolve. Obsessed with the future they seek, show and question what’s next.
What is possible beyond the fixed boundaries of the physical world? How do we shape-shift between virtual and physical worlds? The exhibition UFO - Unidentified Fluid Other (opening 11th June 2022) examines the rise of digital identities and explores how the digital world is merging with our physical reality.

De plus, au niveau de l'infrastructure, en dehors du fait qu'il soit très loin du centre ville, les pièces sont très renfermées et sans air. Le prix était également fort élevé pour une visite qui dure moins d'une heure.
