Amsterdam's most famous market in the heart of the De Pijp district. Food, spices, clothes on the agenda. Good atmosphere.

Founded in 1905, this is the city's most famous market. A multitude of stores and stalls of all kinds will delight you and more. From T-shirts and fruit to flowers and second-hand goods. But remember, you can't help yourself here, or risk being insulted by the sometimes nervous vendors. The street is rapidly evolving and now includes restaurants and cafés that are well worth a visit.
