The Amsterdam Cheese Company is a brand of CONO Kaasmakers, an iconic Dutch cheese manufacturer that has been around for over 100 years. They have 4 stores in Amsterdam. The one on Nieuwendijk is located in a magnificent historic building in the heart of the city's historic shopping street. Inside, you'll find all kinds of Dutch goudas and cheeses, as well as souvenirs and other gifts to take home. And don't forget: the cheese tasting is free! Not to be missed!

On est rentré, pas un bonjour, juste un regard inexpressif.
Une demi douzaine de touristes blancs arrivent juste après nous et là le vendeur hurle "Hey welcome guys, come taste our cheese!!!".
La dame devant nous dans la file d'attente a eu droit à également eu droit à la dégustation, tout un tas d'explications sur comment emballer le fromage dans le papier prévu à cet effet après ouverture....nous, absolument que dalle, pas un son n'est sorti de la bouche de ce vendeur aigri.
C'est en sortant de la boutique qu'on a découvert l'espace dégustation près de la caisse que personne ne nous a proposé.
Ce n'est qu'une fois le fromage acheté que nous avons réalisé cela, dommage car je ne leur aurait pas donné un centime.
