LIDO GRILL
The Lido is one of the restaurants on the edge of Rotterdam, the illustrious cruise ship of Holland-Amérika Lijn, beautifully converted into a hotel complex. If the ship was well preserved, the restaurant was not spared during a renovation of the 1960 s and the current framework has little in common with the Peace Café of the time. The décor, sober and industrial with many design elements, highlights above all the location of the ship, on the Meuse, with an incredible view over the Euromast. The map honours fish and offers a variety of fine brasserie dishes, with unfortunately a service not always at the point. The atmosphere is a success and certainly recalls the cruises at the time. The Clou of the Lido is undoubtedly the magnificent terrace formed by the boat bridge with a pool pool that makes the small and large summer. The terrace was elected best terrace in Rotterdam and it is not by chance. The view, in total osmosis with the deep sea nature of the city, is simply striking.
