"Every day is a party here," boasts Koekela on its website, and it's true. Koekela adds, "it's a matter of taste" and offers, in a simple setting and at fair prices, excellent English- and American-inspired sweets. Scones, muffins, carrot cake and cheesecake... the hardest part will be choosing and limiting calorie intake! Vegan and gluten-free pastries are also available. An excellent address for recharging your batteries during a shopping spree. A branch has also opened in The Hague.
