HAGUE MUSEUM
Museum in a building from 1636 to house the Corporation of Crossbowmen of San Sebastian
Located near the Mauritshuis, this museum is housed in a building constructed in 1636 to house the San Sebastian crossbowmen's guild. Dedicated to the glory of its city, whose history it traces through models, doll's houses, furniture and archaeological remains, this place would only be of anecdotal interest if the collection didn't also include a few early views of The Hague, including a painting by Jan Steen and, above all, a particularly spectacular one by Jan Van Goyen.
