The museum is part of the foundation of the Municipal Museum of The Hague (now the Kunstmuseum), but retains complete programming independence. This contemporary art museum showcases the work of Dutch and international artists. The disciplines covered are many and varied: installations (video), pictorial art and sculpture, multimedia, performance, film, photography, drawings, digital art and more. The venue also hosts presentations, debates, happenings, film and book screenings.
