A friendly café with a student atmosphere. As the name suggests, it's Belgium we're celebrating here, with a superb beer list and a generous menu at fairly reasonable prices. The daily special is highly recommended. Located in a pretty alleyway, the café has been a fixture in the city since 1989. Dishes are hearty and filling, often based on boiled vegetables and meat. Vegetarians are not forgotten, for example, with a vegan meat or vegetable tart. An address that doesn't succumb to modernity.
